Who Was Johnny Mac?
Col. John McHugh was a member of the U.S. Army for 24 years. He was killed in action on May 18, 2010, in Kabul, Afghanistan. His fellow West Point classmates joined together to ensure that his five children would receive a college education. In 2014, that effort grew into the Johnn Mac Fund. 

What is the Johnny Mac Soldiers Fund?
The Johnny Mac Soldiers Fund seeks to honor the U.S. military's service and sacrifice by providing scholarships to veterans and military family members, especially children of the fallen and disabled. Since 2014, Johnny Mac has awarded $6 million in scholarships to to over 700 scholars. Visit johnnymac.org to learn more.
